Arrest that fake patriot! that spineless murderer!

WOW... I've not gone into DC this weekend but I have to admit seeing that would have been surreal.

Good piece of viral marketing - online shoe store posts photo of controversial shoe toss for everyone to enjoy/frown upon. Well done!

Respect for Bush? Pssh. It's not like everyone voted for him. He screwed things up so badly.

this is expression. Freedom of Experssion. It's suppose to be tacky.
lttlesnowflakes on January 19, 2009
I have to say this is tacky no matter what political party you support. I have to say this is about as funny as Interns handing out cigars would have been after Clinton left office.
knash99 on January 19, 2009
to those upset: this is an expression of an idea. it's not the same as a person throwing a real show at another real person.
righellis on January 19, 2009
It is too bad that this is considered acceptable.
stephenriley on January 19, 2009
Well, I don't think this kind of spectacle would've happened if GWB wasn't such a catastrophe. What was his approval rating at the end? 22%? That's not too good. I don't think even "conservatives" could be happy with his terms.
dre_the_enigma on January 19, 2009
While this may be offensive to some, we can all agree that it is wonderful to have the right to throw shoes at a giant presidential puppet. Two thumbs up.
elpocho on January 19, 2009
People have a right to be pissed! Let them enjoy the moment. How many of the Iraqi's who hit the Saddam statue with their shoes are now dead? Toss a boot for me!
jphipps on January 19, 2009
If BHO was as destructive as GWB, hell yeah throw the shoes at him, but for now he's undeserving of a good shoe throw. Besides Americans have been demonstrating since it a colony. Why stop now?
michaelbeck on January 19, 2009
and you liberals who think it is so funny...what would you say if someone started throwing shoes at a blowup doll of BHO or even real shoes at BHO himself....I bet you idiots would want that person arrested
plaz_ on January 19, 2009
Comments were an interesting read. most any kind of public demonstration is a good thing, yeah?
almacy on January 19, 2009
Politics aside, I am appalled that Americans would behave this way toward any U.S. President.
FranchisePick on January 19, 2009
Hmmm... a company that sells shoes encouraging people to throw away their shoes... that's what I call diabolical marketing. www.FranchisePick.com

perfect!
leocomerlato on January 19, 2009
Haha. People need to grow up.
MrZello on January 19, 2009
WOW! Wish i could be there to throw one right at his head!
perrynunley on January 19, 2009
Hopenchangey! What if that were an effigy of Obama? What would you call it?
jon_gabriel on January 19, 2009
The "new politics of hope" sure looks a lot like the old politics of hate.
jbuzz on January 19, 2009
Give Bush the boot!!! The boot!
S_Wash on January 19, 2009
This is waaaay to funny! I can't stop laughing at it! It says "Give Bush the boot!"
